From Roots to Blossoms

Mondays in Diest

This is a beautiful opportunity to dance together with the same group. I find when I dance with the same group over a period of time, it supports me to dare to meet further parts of myself and my life, to dance my own dance.

There will be space in each class (7:30pm - 9:30 pm) for your own exploration.

This ongoing closed group is suitable for beginners and experienced dancers. We’d love to welcome you. If you would miss out one class, that is not an impediment to register.

We ask you to register by mid-January.

In the first wave, we will gently come into contact with ourselves and our bodies and how we can say yes to ourselves in different ways. Other feelings towards ourselves, of course, are most welcome.

In the second class we will dance a wave where we come from that meeting of ourselves and see how we might notice the life around us. How do we say clear “No” or a clear, “Yes” to what we meet and allow the feelings in us to move as they want to, dancing with them?

From out of ourselves, our meeting with the world / life, we dance a wave of releasing expectations about saying yes or no and having the possibility of sinking into a deeper trust in ourselves at different moments, sinking into our essential self that can guide us through the tempests of life. Allowing the feelings that come with this, whilst fully finding our feet.

Always having the chance to come fully back to ourselves with ease, whilst following the adventure of being a valued part of the group, just as we are; with the possibility of our sensations dancing through us and the spaciousness in us, holding them with light fingertips.

Moments of letting the big stillness hold us, carry us. The sense of that thing which is bigger than us offering us a deep yes. Whatever is there - feelings, sensations, a sense of boundless space - is unconditionally welcome.
